22 Fast, 22 Furious

It’s me and Laine’s 22nd anniversary tomorrow and the heat wave finally broke so we did our customary Route 66 tourism day today.

My hands were too full to take many pictures at the farmers market in Edwardsville, but this is Laine’s completely spontaneous anniversary present. #gothgoth

We also honked for a wee band of no kings protestors down the street.
Then we headed to my semi depressing half hometown, Granite City. Not pictured, my orange sherbet soft serve cone from Weathervane.
Granite City is also ramping up for the 100 year street party
None of these places were open, but they’re trying.
We got married in Edwardsville 7 years ago tomorrow. 🏳️‍🌈
